Binbrook Church: 

The Binbrook Methodist Church was originally intended to accommodate the families that were a result of the Episcopal and Wesleyan congregations uniting in the early 1800's. A second amalgamation took place in1925 between the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches. Since that time the church has progressed through many phases. Blackheath and Binbrook became a United Charge in 1959. Today the church has become an integrated part of the community supporting both farm and residential families.We are located at 2617 Binbrook Road East.  Our mailing address is Box 46, Binbrook, Ontario L0R 1C0.


Binbrook Cemetery:

Binbrook Cemetery is located at the corner of Cemetery Road and Hwy 56, half a mile north of the village of Binbrook. The first burial was in 1826 when the cemetery was known as the Methodist Episcopal. The cemetery was later changed to Binbrook United Church Cemetery. In 1957, land was purchased from the Laidman family to enlarge the cemetery area on the west side. The cemetery is marked today with a bronze and stone cornerstone.

Blackheath United:                               

Blackheath United is located on the north side of Haldibrook Townline Road, east of Blackheath Corners. Land for the church and cemetery was donated in 1874 by the Hoey family. A row of evergreen trees border the west side of the original cemetery section.  Blackheath Church is a quaint building that still has many of the original parts from its construction in 1874. There are oak pews, and a softwood floor that will creak as you walk the aisles.
